Mara VetCare is an independent mobile vet practice run by Mara Tudorache MRCVS, based in Conisbrough. Mara visits pets at home across Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley and nearby towns. A home visit costs £90 in our standard area, home euthanasia starts from £220 and an EU Animal Health Certificate costs £100 for one pet.

Peaceful, unhurried end-of-life care where your pet feels safest, including evenings and weekends. Sedation is included.

Can’t get your pet to the vet? We can take them.
Non-emergency transport from your home to your vet practice, for planned appointments. You travel separately and meet us there. This isn’t an ambulance service. Price on request.

Mara Tudorache MRCVS
Mara qualified in 2011 at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest and has worked in small animal practice in Romania and across Yorkshire. Her clinical interests are internal medicine and endocrinology. Every visit is shaped by one question: how would I want my own pet cared for?

Do you offer emergency appointments?
We’re not a 24-hour clinic, but if Mara can answer, she’ll take your call at any time. There’s no charge for calling; an extended-hours fee may apply only if Mara visits outside our regular hours.
Which pets do you see?
We see dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, small rodents and pet birds.
How much does a home visit cost?
A home visit in our standard area costs £90 and includes an examination of at least 30 minutes. In our extended area there’s a £40 travel fee, and weekend and bank holiday fees apply.
Can you see my pet if it’s anxious or aggressive at the vets?
Yes. Home visits often help nervous pets, because they stay in a place they know. Let us know when you book so Mara can plan the visit.
Can you take my pet to the vet if I can’t?
Yes, for planned, non-emergency appointments. We collect your pet from home and hand them over at your vet practice, where you meet us.
How do I pay?
By cash or bank transfer. We are not VAT registered, so the prices shown are what you pay.
