Extended hours – call us any time
Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9am–12pm.
Outside these hours, call Mara anyway. If she’s able to answer, she will, whatever the time, and she’ll tell you straight away whether she can help and when she can come to you.

Are you a 24-hour emergency service?
No. Mara VetCare isn’t a 24-hour clinic, but Mara answers calls outside regular hours whenever she can. Visits in extended hours depend on her availability.
How much does a visit in extended hours cost?
The usual price of the service plus the extended-hours fee shown on our prices page. We always confirm the total before we visit.
What if my pet needs surgery or hospital care?
Mara will tell you if your pet needs a clinic and help you get there. For planned referrals, our pet transport can take your pet.
