Our pet transport takes pets from your home to a veterinary practice for planned, non-emergency appointments. It isn’t an ambulance service, and owners travel separately and meet us at the practice. The price depends on the distance and whether you need a return trip; we confirm it before we book.

Questions
Do I travel with my pet?
No. You travel separately and meet us at the vet practice, so you’re there for the appointment.
Is this an ambulance service?
No. It’s for planned, non-emergency appointments. In an emergency, call Mara first, any time, or your own vet practice.
Which vet practices do you go to?
Any veterinary practice in our area. Tell us the practice and the appointment time when you request transport.
What if my pet becomes unwell during the journey?
We stop as soon as it is safe, call you straight away and take your pet to your vet practice or the nearest open practice, as agreed with you. Mara is a vet, so your pet is in experienced hands throughout.
How is my pet kept safe?
Cats and small pets travel in a secured carrier; dogs travel secured in a crate or with a suitable restraint. Tell us about your pet’s size, temperament and mobility so we can plan the trip.
