Export health certificates for pets
Moving abroad or travelling beyond the EU? Every country has its own rules. Mara prepares the documents and guides you through each step.
Export health certificates start from £200 for one pet. The price depends on the destination, how much notice you give, the number of pets and any tests or treatments needed. Tell us where you’re going and we’ll send the requirements, the timeline and a quote within 48 hours.

Questions
How early should I contact you?
As early as you can. Some countries need blood tests, extra vaccinations or treatments weeks or months before travel, so a few months’ notice is ideal for long-distance moves.
Which countries do you prepare certificates for?
We often prepare certificates for Turkey, the USA, Canada and Brazil, and we can look at other destinations on request. We don’t currently issue certificates for Australia.
Who applies for the export health certificate?
An export application is made to the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA), naming the Official Veterinarian who will sign the certificate. We explain each step and what you need to send.
